Philosophy of a Car Washer

After finishing the interview, the next step was to edit the footage. So there I was editing away at 1 in the morning, and this process felt different. I had done music videos or short video collages but never an interview, as I was editing I saw this man(Mario) through his eyes, the life he had, and it made me reflect immensely on what he did everyday. This man, wakes up every single day and goes on to a gas stations parking lot where he washes cars all day long, if there are any cars to wash. I had to stop for a second and really process that concept. In a certain way, the man has no future, I might be going to the extreme here but it was just an uneasy feeling(of having no future). So I began thinking of the other people who go on about their lives and do not appreciate what they have it is just so nervewracking at times. In conclusion, Mario really made me think... and I am still thinking.
